Information We Collect
- Account information, including your email address and authentication identifiers.
- Photos you select for antler analysis and the resulting score, age, confidence, and profile estimates.
- Saved Trophy Room records, including the selected photo, analysis, species, score range, and creation date.
- Subscription status, customer identifiers, and transaction status. TineTracer does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
- Technical and operational information such as request timing, provider errors, security logs, aggregated page visits, device and browser details, and performance measurements.
How Photos Are Used
Submitted photos are sent to Google Gemini to produce an analysis. If Gemini is unavailable, TineTracer may send the photos and analysis instructions to the OpenAI API as a fallback. These services process the content under their own business/API data terms.
TineTracer does not use submitted photos to train its own model. Verified calibration photos supplied with permission may be retained as calibration records.
Completed traces are automatically saved to your private Trophy Room. Selected files may also be held temporarily in your browser so an interrupted sign-in can resume. You can delete individual Trophy Room entries or delete your account.
Service Providers
- Google Gemini: primary image analysis.
- OpenAI: fallback image analysis when configured and needed.
- Supabase: authentication, database records, and private Trophy Room image storage.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: browser security checks to protect sign-in and the contact form from bots.
- Resend: delivery of messages submitted through the support form.
- Stripe: subscription checkout, billing, and customer portal.
- Vercel: website and server-function hosting, security, operational logs, privacy-focused Web Analytics, and Speed Insights performance measurements.
Retention and Deletion
To recover interrupted traces and prevent duplicate token charges, we keep request-accounting records and a recovery copy of the resulting report. Recovery reports are removed after 30 days; these records do not contain uploaded image bytes. Abuse-admission counters use hashed account or IP identifiers and are removed after two days. Deleting your account removes its trace-accounting records. Separate AI cost records retain random request identifiers, provider/model names, and token counts to control spending; they contain no photos or account contact details. Deleting an individual Trophy Room entry does not immediately remove its separate recovery report.
Account and Trophy Room information is retained while your account remains active. Trophy photos remain stored until you remove the entry or delete your account. Canceling a subscription does not delete your account or trophies.
Provider-side copies and logs may be retained for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and service operation under each provider's applicable terms. TineTracer cannot directly delete provider logs governed by those terms.
Sharing and Sale
TineTracer shares information with the service providers listed above only as needed to operate, secure, support, and bill for the service, or when legally required. TineTracer does not sell personal information.
Security and Your Choices
Trophy Room storage is private and access is scoped to the signed-in user. No online system is completely secure. Keep access to your email account protected and do not submit photos containing sensitive personal information.
You may view and delete Trophy Room entries in the app. You may cancel a subscription without losing your Trophy Room. You may permanently delete the account from your profile. See Account and Data Deletion.
Children
TineTracer is not directed to children under 18. Do not use the service if you are under 18.
Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated as the service changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@snaptekalabs.com.
